Trans Europe Halles is now recruiting


We are now in a period of strong development and growth and for that we need a new, dedicated and dynamic team that over three years will establish Trans Europe Halles as a lead organisation in providing professional development, consultancy and international exchange in the culture sector and in establishing an exciting new initiative: the TEH Academy.
We are therefore looking for a driven and experienced Development & General Manager and a skilled Network Manager to join our team at the Trans Europe Halles Coordination Office. You will be working with a vibrant network of engaged cultural activists from all over Europe who all share the values of the network: cultural equity, citizen participation, empowerment and sustainability.

1) Development & General Manager
We are looking for a highly driven and confident professional who is entrepreneurial and passionate about education, culture and international exchange. You have at least 5 years of work experience in strategic development, fundraising, income generation and leadership from the creative industries, cultural or educational sectors and are a self-starter.

The role of the Development & General Manager, together with the Secretary General, is to drive the strategic development of Trans Europe Halles. The aim is to expand its activities and outreach and to become a more financially self-sufficient organisation. The Development & General Manager will have the full responsibility of developing, fundraising for and realising the TEH Academy by early 2017.

2) Network Manager

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated project manager with at least 5 years work experience who is a master in organising, planning and communicating successful international events and projects from concept to implementation and evaluation. You thrive in teams, motivating others and finding new solutions and ways forward.

The role of the Network Manager is to manage and produce the TEH Meetings and network projects and to manage the membership and its development. The network manager is also responsible for the internal and external communication of the network.
