Jazz Bez festival


Join us to the biggest marathon of jazz in Lublin between 11 -14 December 2014. Jazz Bez festival brings together the Ukrainian and Polish cities of Lviv, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Uzhgorod, Rivne, Lutsk, Mostyska, Lublin, Sanok, Wroclaw, Bialystok, Nowica, Przemysl. This year the Jazz Bez is going to involve the liberated cities of Sloviansk and Kramatorsk (Eastern Ukraine) under the slogan “Music of Freedom Sounds In Liberated Ukrainian Territories!”

International JazzBez Festival  is held usually in early winter. December in Ukraine is a time of two significant events –  the first snowfall and the unchangeable, annual ‘jazzfall’  in Poland and Ukraine. The JazzBez Festival is held in both countries and it means ten days of all possible jazz styles and genres –  traditional and avant-garde, national and international, elitist and popular.

Jazz Bez – an annual transboundary Jazz Marathon. JazzBez – dozens of new international projects, hundreds of musicians, thousands of music lovers and  lots of miles. JazzBez peculiarity – one festival but all possible jazz genres (swing, fusion, bebop, jazz, rock, funk, cool, free jazz) and improvised music. JazzBez – a lot of high-quality, intelligent, experimental, emotional music performed by artists from all around the world. For 14 years the festival has held hundreds of concerts, it  has given birth to dozens of international projects and it has hosted more than 1,000  musicians.
